**Gasp**

A retail website down overnight for maintenance prior to the holiday season. How truly earth shattering and bizarre.

Walmart is a bacteria that needs to be wiped out

Overnight? Not much.

Doesn't seem like people here know too much about larger mainstream retail sites. Retail traffic for sites like walmart doesn't ramp up until the east coasters get into work and pretty much dies off once the west coasters leave work.

:winkwink:

This is also the time of year that retailers are getting in their last minute hardware and software upgrades in anticipation of the holiday season. I've seen more than a handfull of large retail sites down overnight for maintenance in the just the last week or so.
