i was really looking forward to it... what was so bad about it?

Well, It's more like watching a movie and building it up and expecting something to happen?

the movie Lacks, A thicker Plot,a Climax and well the ending wasn't there at ALL

damn it hasnt hit the inet yet

That sucks, to many movies ruined by not thinking through a proper ending.

Oh well, worth seeing on DVD?

Was there any political slant on it?

The movie was about "Marines" He goes though basic then next thing you know he goes to Desert Sheild/Storm He shows that he can "shoot" Then he gets to join an regular squad and he and a friend are team sniper.

He didn't even get a chance to shoot anyone the WAR Is over. And he goes home to find out his g/f was with another man.

The point of the movie is what marines go though.

Damn that sucks. I was looking forward to that one...

A few jokes about oil and $.

But for a WAR movie it was Netural at best

It was getting very mediocre reviews in the screenings. started with like a 15% at rotten tomatoes. Its gone up to 55% now though

The only ones that enjoyed this movie would be the jarheads. once a jar head always a jarhead PEEENUT BUTTER!

At MetaCritic it only got a 58%. That equals Mixed or Average Reviews. Have you all seen THREE KINGS? That's another movie about Desert Storm. It was actually a made up story and not based on a Marine's experience which JARHEAD is I believe.

I agree.. Jarhead was lame. I got some preview passes through a friend and went on Wednesday.

I had high hopes but it was just boring. I guess they were trying to make a point or something.. but I don't go to see a war movie for the main character to never shoot his gun.

Also it seemed kind of long.
