Somehow, I'm convinced that it's not all Home Depot customers that have the urge to use the bathroom.
Yes, the staff in that store have dropped the ball and should have come to his attention earlier. That being said, anybody who has worked or know someone who has worked in retail will know that customers can demand the most stupidest and unreasonable things. Keeping that in mind, the staff can't just stop servicing other customers every time they hear some noise coming out of the bathroom as it could easily result in that oh-so-fashionable orange apron being stained from repetitive bum wiping.
The article mentions that the incident happened in 2003. I can't help but believe that the statute of limitation was about to expire and that he's trying to get away with something.
