They have these really nice ones currently for sale for like 150-200 dollars

i played with it and it looks good. Did anyone buy them?

Those things kick ass, I played with one for an hour in futureshop. I think they thought I was part of the display or something.

Worth it if you plan on sabering someone.

I bought one and pulled it out one night with some friends after a lot of drinking.

My one drunk friend looked at it in amazement and was so drunk he asked if he could touch the lit part. He was worried it was going to cut off his fingers. He then tapped the plastic tube with his fingers and pulled them back real quick. He turned to me in all seriousness and said "That's not real".

Two of the guys here in the office bought them. Geeky yes, but I'll admit I couldn't help playing around with them for a little while. They make pretty "realistic" (?) sounding light-saber sounds.

Yeah I got one as Chris mentioned, I'm one of the nerds. They are nice but be careful when knocking them around, they aren't toys really. I'm waiting for the Mace Windu version to come out....baaad aaaaasss....

it came out already, i dont understand why that one is more expensive.

At least I think the LA ones are made to play. I wasn't there but Mark said that he and the clerk at Futureshop got into a big old playfight for about 45 minutes right in the store, and they were whacking those things on the counters and all - and they weren't showing any wear...

Damn technology!! The ones we had when i was about 6 were hollow plastic and lit up with balleries. Had so much fun whacking the shit outta each other :helpme In no time they would be bent in half and limp :1orglaugh

No, no lightsaber. I had a millenium falcon but I switched my coverage to liability only like a dumbass and I was trying to show up a honda on the strip one saturday and hit a lightpole with it. Totalled it, so im SOL. :upsidedow

Ok - I'll admit it I'm a geek and I do own a few of those :(

I remember waiting in line for hours to see the origional always have been and always will be a huge fan...it's nostalgic for me...so when we recieved a package this week of TWELVE yes twelve of these light sabers I almost fell out!
