What ftp actually resumes files?

I need to upload like 200-300 mb files. When ever my connection times out or something i need to start over again. I have tried lot of ftp programs, none allow me to resume files. (i click resume and it says some stupid error).

Anyone have this problem?

most programs have options to resume as long as the ftp you are sending the files to has resume option enabled.

When it gets fucked up it automatically resumes just press overwrite the file thats all
