they are only listing material where the copyright has expired... so they say..on CNN

They only index books wich copyrights are over OR small parts of copyrighted (you can quote parts legally) books.

took google agers to get this launched , they were planning on becoming an online libary but tonnes of authors threatend law suits galore , which is why google have gone with the out of copyright print
