The Prison Puzzle - CIA Bullshit
It's maddening. Why does the Bush administration keep forcing policies on the United States military that endanger Americans wearing the nation's uniform - policies that the military does not want, that do not work and that violate standards upheld by the civilized world for decades?
When the Bush administration rewrote the rules for dealing with prisoners after 9/11, needlessly scrapping the Geneva Conventions and American law, it ignored the objections of lawyers for the armed services. Now, heedless of the lessons of Abu Ghraib, the civilians are once again running over the people in uniform. Tim Golden and Eric Schmitt reported yesterday in The Times that the administration is blocking the Pentagon from adopting the language of the Geneva Conventions to set rules for handling prisoners in the so-called war on terror. Read more here.... http://www.nytimes.com/2005/11/03/op...3thur1.html?hp ************************ The war on terror threatens all of our civil liberties. As George W. Bush has pushed his crap on the world leaders in the name of preventing terrorism. He has also created an enviroment in the world that is quickly turning into an international witch hunt. If we are truely nations based on freedom. Then we must like free people and oppose torture. If no other reason then one day we might find ourselves being labled as "enemies of the state." Speak up, write letters or if nothing more... Discuss these issues with your family and friends. Because sometimes in this world... the enemies of the state is the state itself. -- |
Puzzles make my head hurt. Sorry, I refuse to speak out against my government. I'm a good little citizen that closes his eyes and goes about his business.

Bush is going to be the down fall of this country. It will take atleast 3 new pres to fix what all hes fucked up.

People tend to trust their own goverment more than they trust their spouse, children, etc.
I'm sorry but George Bush is just another rich bastard that has never tasted no-name brand Kraft Dinner or had to shop at the 99cent only store. People like that are ignorant to the common man and don't think twice about something that screws us over. Freedom, rights, liberties are just words in a dictionary to them. Because to them they are just things that are easily purchased. They never have and never will shed a drop of blood or even a tear for these things. As long as such people rule you. All citizens are slaves at worst and serfs at best. Property to be used or abused as they see fit. (Case in point, hurrican Katrina.) Don't get me wrong. I believe in free market. But if goverment is for the people and by the people. Then it stands to reason that it should be comprised of the average man. -- |
Mmmm.. This "news" was around over a year ago when the history of a CIA aircraft was tracked thru hell knows how many owners and corporations. When ya looked at the owners - well, if it was mean't be be a "cover", - it succeeded like Tenants "slam dunk".
The reason for the tracking of aircraft was the surfacing of a few "CIA victims" who ended up giving statements. As ya would expect the content of the statements had little to do with human rights, "our values", "in God we Trust", but more to do with torture and killings - watched by CIA personnel, - the common Judas conduct they are known for. Shit has a habit of rising - little doubt we will see more of it shortly. |
And now the topic of hidden detention centres around eastern europe.
I'm not supporting terrorists but if you act like the monsters sooner or later you will become a monster. But this is part of the "un-holy deal" the bush administration has made with the American people. IE: If you turn a blind eye to what we do. We will make you feel safe. |
The Danish goverment has requested that the CIA planes don't use Danish airspace but the CIA don't care and still use it. What a way to build international relations.

Cue conservatards to tell us how funny and stupid we are to be alarmed at our vanishing civil liberties and upcoming international pariah status.
With lots of smiley faces. |

I hate all politics! But the fucktard conservates are starting to become a bit much even by my standards. You know people forget that it is the extreme right wing that created such organizations as the Klu klux klan. |
