Best password protection script?
 

I was looking at
password sentry
and
proxypass

Can anyone tell me what they are using to prevent password sharing and brute force attacks please.

I still think good old fashioned htaccess is best .

proxy pass
pennywise

We are using .htaccess already, but how can you use that for password sharing and brute force attacks.

currently i'm using a custom script that kicks a user out after 38 IP's and mails us.
