Has anyone checked out Mars past couple of nights?
 

Right after sunset for about 2 or 3 hours you can see it really well. Straight out to the East.

Been checking it out with my telescope, need to get me a good light bucket instead of this POS.

What kind of telescope have you got? I've been planning to get one, once I get a huge window built into my roof.

I'd like one with some computer controlled viewer, do you know anything about them?

no, i've heard of what your talking about though.
i just have a pair of binochulars and for my camera I have some huge lenses with some 2x and 3x adapters for taking pics. (not enough for mars though)

About 3000$ - was double that when first came out.

700x Magnification I believe.

If youre getting a telescope - I hear that you need to look at 11inch lenses to see the planets as anything other than a blur - dunno tho - that nexstar is mine in a month or so.

Fuck I want a TOY not an observatory.
