Denver voters OK marijuana measure
Just curious I used to live in Amsterdam and it worked well over there to not lock up smokers so do you agree or disagree with this? :pimp

That whole state is going to pot.

Hey swappernet, i like your swingers site. Top notch.

the mile high city just got a little higher. :)
about time some of the archaic attitudes about marijuana in this country began to fall. |
yeah we have a law that makes it a very low priority, but I hope to see the ability to actually possess sometime soon. Having some nice coffeeshops in town would ROCK!

I'm very glad about the relaxed approach to pot we have in Vancouver. Our little pot cafe's do very well, and the people who smoke it tend to be much more relaxed, open-minded, and peace-loving. Our law enforcement focusses on bigger problems such as crack, meth, and heroin -- and leaves the dope-smokers alone.
I think the big fear about pot in America is that everybody is so wound up with fear that they are afraid to relax -- and that's why there is such a hate-on for it. Heck.. we even have American law enforcement so concerned about pot that they crossed into Canada to arrest one of OUR citizens for committing a crime in THEIR country. Forget extradition, or going through the courts -- they just came into the country, knocked on Mark Emery's door, and arrested him! |
I agree with it. Even though I don't smoke it (anymore) I have always said it isn't as bad for you as booze.

Good day to live in the Denver area...in all honesty though, I have been a large supporter of a more lax view on weed because I believe that alcohol is much worse than weed. I have both pros and cons to the subject, I do think that pot is addictive, but anything is pending the personality.
I just think that if alcohol is legal, so should weed. You don't get all crazy thinking you can drive a car, fight the biggest dude in the bar, etc. You just get hungry and laugh : ) |
Good for them, let's hope people all over can take a more tolerant view. There are way more important things to focus on, and way more dangerous people to lock up. Abusive alcoholics for one... :2 cents:

Yet another progressive mile stone is hurdled yet...
Ya wont see it televised. |
Good for them.
