Avs Sites
 

On average per month how much would an avs site make. And how the heck do you make money on 1000 seperate sites. I understand seperate categories but there are only so many. Why make 300 of the same type of sites, wouldnt it make more sense just to send all the traffic to the original and do all the work on that first onel

depends on many factors.
The reason to build a lot of them is more sites = more traffic from link list = more upsells inside. More sites is also more urls added to the search engines.
How much you make on your acctual avs from selling the avs membership depends on you tour/site, traffic. I know a lot of people making a shit loade on some off their avs sites. Check out the resource sites there are some helpfull articles around

You can look at AVS from two different perspectives --
1. Sell the avs memberships and collect your check from the avs itself.
2. Upsell from inside the avs site and get paid by sponsors or use the traffic to your own paysites.

Two completely different site designs here for this, two totally separate marketing types as well.

IF you can get the hang of it, you can do well with both varieties, and even use the #1 type site to send the #2 site traffic, which in turn makes you money on both sides of the coin :)

I use the fire-and-forget approach.
I make a bunch of different sites, tell the SEs about them and move on.
Realistcally they average $2 per month. And if you can make a dollar you can make a million, or so they say.

you can't just ask that kind of question and expect a serious answer, especially on this board.

if your site looks shit, you'll make shit.
if your site looks good, you'll make shit.

however, if entire site is good, the content works well... and the concept is hot... you'll make a ton of $. i'll bet the bang bus made more money in january than i could spend in a year. ;)

if you're a newbie and need to ask... stick to freehosts and galleries, 'cause you're not ready for it yet. you'll only be pissed because you most likely view traffic as more important than sales. avs sites won't be getting 50k day. know when you're ready for it because you won't need to ask questions. i knew i was ready to move into the next stage of webmastering, because i had the dollars set aside for content, hosting, and other things... and knew how to handle it if blew up in my face. now you're asking about avs sites, you wanna make avs sites? what will you do if you buy the content for 1000 avs sites (at 30 per site and $0.30 per pic... thats 30000 pics, or $9k) and they don't make a penny? most likely, you'll come back here and ask "what should i do?", either that... or post a rant.

if you're not a newbie, well... you shouldn't be asking that kind of question. ;)

if you need to ask questions, you're not ready for it. take some time to sit back and observe without asking. think things through. how does this work? how does that work? visit some avs sites and think it through. being prudent, if i sent 8000 visitors every day, i would make 40 signups per day, i know this because...

at $15.00 per signup that is...

my overheads are...

i'll set some money aside just incase...
