proper metatags...i have some n00b SEO questions
<meta name="revisit-after" content="2 days">
<meta name="Description" content="i love to stroke my gentle penis"> <meta name="Keywords" content="penis, soft, gentle, tender, ramos"> <meta name="robots" content="ALL"> <meta name="robots" content="index,follow"> <meta name="rating" content="adult"> <meta name="distribution" content="Global"> are all of these metatags necessary? if so what would you change? how relevant are metatags? what exactly do some of these metatags mean? not just for google but for all SEs as well i apologize for my n00biness, but i would rather have someone explain this to me than to have get bits and pieces of info here and there. thank you and i love you if you answer these simple n00b SE questions. |

SE's disregard those metas. Keep keywords and description. Use a robots file in hopes that they will ignore the files you want them to. They won't always abide by your robots rules though.

thanks bro :thumbsup i was always unclear as to how SEs treat metatags today |
you should have a meta keywords tag like this to rank high:
<meta name="Keywords" content="porn, porn, porn, porn, porn, porn, porn, porn, porn, porn, porn, porn, porn, porn, porn, porn, porn, porn, porn, porn, porn, porn, porn, porn, porn, porn, porn, porn, porn, porn"> |

lololololol do you think that will get me a top ranking? |
Metatags are overated and not of much use nowdays, but it isn't bad to include them anyway.
The description for example gets used in some SEs as the site description. |

<meta name="description" content="See Ramos the twink in hardcore gay action vidos today."> <meta name="keywords" content="ramos the twink, ramos, twink, twink ramos, ramos twink, gay, videos, gay videos"> <meta name="robots" content="index,follow"> A page with meta's like that brings around 5,000 google hits aday. Dont tell anyone :warning |
you still get points from SE's for using them, so it always helps to include your Meta tags as well as Robots.txt.

I would still use metas, why not?

<meta name="Description" content="i love to stroke my gentle penis"> <meta name="Keywords" content="penis, soft, gentle, tender, ramos"> = nice to have, make sure they match the content on the page. Most of the SEs *may* use them in your description in the SERPs (results pages) <meta name="robots" content="ALL"> <meta name="robots" content="index,follow"> = useless, use your robots.txt instead. Google, in particular, really doesn't listen to these tags - nor your robots.txt - as well as it should. <meta name="rating" content="adult"> <meta name="distribution" content="Global"> = useless |
