CCBill question ...

I just got an email from CCBill informing me one of my affiliate accounts has been deactivated due to inactivity. Two questions:

1) When I login to CCBill to see what level of traffic this program considers "inactive", I notice I can't even run a clicks report or any kind of report on the program anymore. Is this normal?

2) Will I continue to get credit for any continueing rebills from sales that occured before being deactivated? If so, how am I supposed to review these if the program is no longer accessable in the reports section?

JCK,

Under normal circumstances your affiliate ID shouldn't be deactivated for inactivity. Feel free to give us a call and we'll look into your situation, hopefully we can get to the bottom of this.

The number of rebills you get is determined by your sponsor. Feel free to give me a call.

I was an affiliate of this merchant and they do not have any sub accounts. Anyways, I called CCBill and was told affiliate IDs can get deactivated due to inactivity as determined by the merchant. After this has happened it is normal to not be able to view any reports for a sponsor for which one has been deactivated so if I want to find out what the merchant considers to be an inactive affiliate I need to contact the merchant. I was told that despite one not being able to view any rebill reports, one should continue to get paid for rebills originating from signups prior to being deactivated regardless of the sponsor. I don't know if CCBill charges merchants by the number of affiliates they have but if they did it would make sense that merchants would try to save money by deactivating affiliates they consider to be inactive or otherwise not performing to their satisfaction.

Once an affiliate ID has been deactivated, the links redirect to a CCBill error page so the merchant does not get any of the traffic from those who forget to pull their links.
