got it working thanks... the "load" .hmmm nothing to write home about ... decent distance should get that outta a healthy guy who is only dumping once a day ... color and editing looks very European .. pretty standard ... not saying it's bad at all ..I just have been in the biz about 8 years so i have seen pretty much everything ...i do think the talent seemed good looking and it will sell well with the right marketing ... tough competition though in that market ...nice job

How do you think that compares with Cleaner XL?

well, it is already sold - cause it's a reality format we do for the german market. i just took it as a sample for the video encoding to find out whether people will like the size and quality of the video for our non-exclusive stuff

honestly - i never tried Cleaner XL - but from what I read it pretty much does the same. up to now i can just say that ProCoder is easy to use (when you got some basic knowledge about video) and i really like the watch folder abilities. plus it's fucking fast. (on an Athlon 64 X2 4400 machine)

It looks better to me file size for file size. Does it encode Windows Media 9 as well as that?

yes - and quicktime and divx and whatever...

and it does watermarking as well - from now on i just need to encode one original file from my editing program and drop that file into the different folder for the different formats - with and without watermarks. saves tons of time...

You output it from your editing program then drop it in to the folders as a raw AVI?

raw avi, hd mpeg or whatever. right now we encode all clips in DVD quality mpeg with 8000 kbps and go from there. the avi files were killing us - we are already at 5 TB storage here :helpme

well - it usually also plays without that. but if not, and you can't afford 2 seconds, the 30 seconds for the clip would be wasted too. :error
