What the Hell do you paint bodies with ?

I have a couple of ladies we are going to have at the capital bash in body paint,
I have a good airbrush artist to do the work but he is not sure what type of paint to use.
As his portfolio is painting Harley tanks etc I would perfer the paint not to be permanent.LOL
any help would be appreciated.
Also if you are thinking about attending we are down to the last 18 spots so get in now, the door prizes alone are worth the trip.
Cheers and thanks in advance for the advice :winkwink:

I think they sell "body paint" made for this.. Not sure where you'd buy it though. Arts n Crafts store is where I'd start I guess.

Thanks for the tip,
I have seen the sex shop paint on stuff, but I need something that will work with a airbrush.
I will stop in at the local craft store today.
Any other thoughts /

Try liquid latex. :)

Rinaldo 10-31-2005 09:24 AM

latex here as well.
Never tried airbrushing it though

spooge 78 ?

Also makes sure he turns down the pressure on the airbrush, if he keeps it cranked up like he's doing a tank, it'll probably be very painful.

Thanks he mentioned that also will probably drop in to about 8 psi fron the normal 32 I think he said.

There's an 8 character limit on GFY. "spooge" is only 6 thus the "78" behind it.

Sounds like an interesting new band name, though. :helpme

Thanks for that

We've used Deviant liquid latex in the past with good results. They make it in a variety of colors. Not sure if it can be airbrushed on, though...I think its too thick.

Any water soluable paint works. Aka, craft paint, tole paint, etc.

DO NOT USE liquid latex in an airbrush gun..haha

they make airbrush paints for human bodies

http://www.dinair.com/

just do a search in google for "airbrush makeup"

O.K
In case anyone else is ever in this situation.
I used the old yellow pages and found a costume and prop shop in town.
They had everthing and more you could ever want.
Thanks

Latex will own an airbrush gun :2 cents:
