So... The Hun just signed up for our Ref Program...
At least that was the URL that the webmaster provided, http://thehun.net :pimp For some strange reason his email points to an entirely different domain?
Seriously though, what do you do when people provide false information when they sign up to promote your site? |
Don't accept them into the program.
Yeah, looked into it a bit more... His domian he use for email doesn't match the adress he gave when signing up. And it seems like the person signed up earlier with the same name, but another URL and another adress. Seems a bit fishy...
a bit? hmm

He wants a ton of free exclusive content so he can promote you on his site! :winkwink:
But seriously why not just ask them if it was them. |
You never know, could be someone who purchases a monthly banner spot on the hun.
But I doubt that ;) |
just some scammer i'm sure
you've had only 1 person signing up with thehun as url? I've seen a bunch of them comming by... =/
wouldn't allow them in the program

Well, I sent him an email so we'll see if he reponds with an explanation :)
Probably a surfer wanting content
Kick him, providing false info indicates he has reason to hide his true intentions.
Just a scammer of course
some real scammer...
Sounds like a scammer
