question for the gallery veterans
 

A few months back I found a site that gave me kickass conversions so I promoted the fuck out of it and did pretty well.

Now I'm going back and promoting the fuck out if it again and my conversions are awful. Does this happen a lot to you guys? Do you have to continually find new sponsors to promote or do you usually stick to the same one and just promote it differently?

I guess if a site converts well then news spreads fast and lots more webmasters start promoting it, making it old fast, right?

But then again all petite has been around forever and it still looks like it's doing well.

I been doing galleries for about 2 years now, i got one sponser that does just about the same money every month no matter what my layout is, i use other sponsers that kick ass one month and do nada the next. So who knows, maybe it's all about luck:)

two words. Over exposure.

One day you think you have the best new sponsor that nobody else knows about and the next day they are flying a banner on the hun's (for example) submit page.
