not sure who was first, but some of the earliest I, personally, remember are the hun, al4a/ampland, raw pussy, adult buffet and pornno.com (JJJ's)...

I believe that Adult Buffet was the first true TGP.
The other guys were around first but they were linking to
sites and indexes, not just thumb galleries. Could be wrong though.....

um in my earliest memories I remember Adult buffet , JJJ, the hun and ampland. However, the first tgp I ever 'networked' with was gopostal.

Not that this stuff actually means anything but I just looked a some whois information. Doesn't mean they were a tgp at the date the domain was created.

I remember when I had my first site I was on a freehost whose name I seriously can't remember. It wasn't porncity, I know that. It was so far back that you had to manually submit their headers at the top of each of your pages.

One day our sites didn't work and the reason was that *one* of the sites they hosted got listed on Kitty. That was enough traffic to take the whole system down.

Wish I could remember the name of that host..sure it had sex in the title. Sure that narrows it down.

my understanding was that it was more of an evolution to it's current stage where EARLY TGPS posted tour pages on paysites.


yes hun, buffet amd al4a plus others were right in there at the beginnnig, but there were also a LOT of HUGE circle jerk sites. Lars had a TON of traffic early on, assuming you guys even know who that is.

Ha Sjayne, I know that feeling. My first site was a huge (read, unprofitable) celeb pic archive. I was getting some traffic and making a few bucks and I sent the main page url to the Hun thinking it would be something like a normal link list...

By 2 pm he'd shut down the server, they couldn't get it back up for a couple days - even after he'd removed the link.

Needless to say I wasn't welcome on that server anymore. :)

I wish tgps still linked directly to tour pages.

I remember al4a and hun as first 2 that had the kinda idea of a tgp.

Now maybe someone else put the whole thing together first I dunno.

AdultBuffet was the first TGP as we know it today. TheHun was doing other things but AdultBuffet started the mess. The CJ world was WAY after the TPG crap started. Shap and Myself had the first CJ script created and distributed called Linkx and AdultBuffet was already in the top slots from traffic on sextracker. At that nobody really knew how much traffic TheHun had, he added a counter to his site for a couple of weeks, he got less hits than AdultBuffet, and removed it for ages. Then many months later he added it back and took the top slot on SexTracker.

I remember one site using a script but it wasn't really CJ'ing with it. I made my first CJ site and had a custom written script. No-one used scripts before that site - including Shap.

You had the first script drove site using an in out script, cant remember your sites name now though. But LinkX was the first created and distributed which was right about the same time of your sites going script ran. Shaps was picwarhouse.com and mine was wetsmut.com - but either way AdultBuffet was still up and doing large amounts of traffic by time this started. As for non script drivin CJ sites, larger password/warez sites dominated this market well before any porn site even before the TGP world was started, but cj in porn was after TGP. AdultBuffet started the TGP world hands down on that, wasnt long before it caught on, just like the CJ world.

Yes TGP's were before CJ's. However, there were only few sites getting more traffic than CJ's . Maybe six or so.

When I put the script on my site, it skyrocketed and had more traffic than Worldsex (I CANT FUCKING BELEIVE THAT TODAY LOL). Anyhow, Shap was CJ'ing, too, and later turned them into TGP's.

So TGP's were before CJ's, but as a whole CJ's were more popular for some time. Most people were clever enough to see CJ's starting to die and changed their sites into TGP's that trade..

You know, you could well be right. God, I don't want to ever see my first site. It was pathetic beyond words.

You know, I wonder if I was one of (not *the*)the first independent tgp reviewers. I am pretty sure I am going for the record of doing it the longest for the same tgps.
