A week in SOUTH KOREA, what should I do?
I'm going to Seoul, South Korea for a week. Give me suggestions on what to do, where to eat, etc...
|
Try to find some nuclear plants
|
they've got a nice attraction called the "38 parallel". :)
|
I was wondering if there are any interesting places to visit along that DMZ border, are there?

I'd go to Itaewon for some shopping. Lots of hookers and clubs, too. Then, down to Myongdong for some food and evening entertainment. Maybe take a city tour of South Gate, Zoo, Namsan peak, and a museum or two.
Be sure to eat some Bulgogi (Korean BBQ) and enjoy some really good sushi (a leftover Japanese influence). Then, go back to Itaewon and party some more. |
Get autographs from some of their 'pro gamers' !
|
Check out the counterfeit goods on the public markets. It's better if you can make it to a late one... all the good stuff comes out at night.

Thanks for the tips, keep 'em coming!
|
tour the country and take pics and post em here
|
Here's a question: What is something I can do or see in Korea that I can't do or see anywhere else?
|
Get a better travel agent? :)

Really, I was there for just 5 days and spent most of the time in the hotel, most of the time it's raining, then unbearable heat, then rain again. Just get drunk and everything will get right :thumbsup |

Stay at home, there are only morons living in that country. |
Wow, some people are really negative about Korea
|
hey i was there this year...Itaewon is great for shopping and finding some food.
go visit the kings palace..kayung bok-kung or somethign like that...they have some really neat old paintings...you can go to the border of north korea and eat at the observatory( tongil chung man da) good food and you can see some of north korea. Incheon also has some great shopping and you can drive there in about 20 minutes, you can also take the train or a bus if you wont have a car. Lotte world is kinda neat it is a copy of disney world, maybe take your girl there. Insadon is a traditional place...well priced food, nicknacks..and you can rent a hotel room for just 20 bucks ;) PlatinumPimp...the only moron for sure is you...Korea has a rich culture and you are only responding to the few wacky pictures you found on CJ or something similar..try to enrich your horizons beyond the funny pages...btw my wife is korean...so gfy |
Thanks for the tips Phoenix
