XML RPC ping failed....Any thoughts?

Locally trying to ping xmlrpc page. Ping is failing.

Anybody have a clue as to a workaround?

I'm not sure what you are talking about.

By what your posted, you are trying a "remote procedure call" against an xml file ?

Typical problem with wordpress ping feeds file.

Try grabbing the latest version of the class-IXR.php for wordpress
