We got hit pretty hard, trying to get everything back together and recovering from the damage.

You're lucky man, we got hammered downtown. I am going to try and get some pics of all the hi-rise buildings that were blown out today

I have a place on the Intra-Coastal ( on the land strip ) . Have no idea if it is still there...

We had about 115 - 120 mph wind gusts going west then we had the eye for about 15 min (very calm) then the back end hit us with the same gusts just going east, everything was torn up. The only way in or out of our complex was blocked for 2 days. Gas was hard to come by as well as food, water and ice, but things are starting to get back up and running. Still very hard to find gas, etc.. going to be a while until everything is back to normal! Just trying to get by day to day.

we never got the eye, the storm kept downtown in the eyewall the whole time. The last part of the storm took the roofs off all the houses across the intercoastal from me. We were out having a smoke watching windows blow out, and roofs come off. It was surreal. We were protected enough to watch before the wind shifted again.

Luckily we didn't lose any windows, but i thought we were going to lose our sliding glass doors, i never saw glass buckle like that, a little stronger and they would have blown out! A lot of cars all had their windows blown out.

Damn! that's some scary shit. :(

Shit, those pics could certainly tell how destructive it was.
