Bra Size HELP Please!
Can anyone help me?
I want to buy my girlfriend a bra from Ann Summers (a UK sex shop), but she's a 34DD and they only sell bras in cup-sizes up to D. Since it's a "playtime" bra (she is unlikely to wear it to work, for instance) should I get a 34D or a 36D since they don't do 34DD? I'm assuming a 34D will simply press her breasts together even more provocatively and thus be a better choice (for me) than a 36D, but I think she usually buys a 36D in the absence of a 34DD if she wants to use the bra on a normal basis. As it's a surprise I can't ask her. It's a flimsy looking net material bra. Any advice welcome (preferably from the ladies)! Thanks, Mark |
no idea but ask her girlfriends, im sure they would know

My bet.. he doesnt have a women..maybe a real doll. Guys do this shit all the time to me on yahoo. They just want to TALK about lingerie.. so they make up shit in question form thinking that you will answer it..therefore creating a discussion about it so they can jack off...yeah, it gets complicated dealing with the bra freaks psyche :1orglaugh

I don't really need a conversation - the answer is one of two. Each possible answer is three characters long. 34D or 36D. But thanks for the insight into your scintillating instant messaging habits.

34 and 36 is simply the distance around her back. The cup size D determines the actual size of the breast. Like shoes, the cups can have variation depending on who makes them. I would not buy a D cup for a DD woman if the DD is not available.

so let me answer your question from real experience....do not buy a bra too little for a women...let her buy her own bras that fit.. nothing sucks worse than trying to shove dd's into a little d' cup . The more comfortable the lingerie is..the more comfortable the women will be wearing it for you. |
as a woman with a bra size that's hard to find, i'll tell you that buying her one in a cup size too small with the correct band size will likely only make her cross. especially since it's a netting fabric, if the cup is too small and the band doesn't give a bit, the cup will cut into her breast, that actually doesn't look as sexy as you are imagining (a plunge or pushup bra might though).
so short answer, get the 36D. :2 cents: |
Thank you for your helpful answers - I will get her the 36D and if it doesn't fit then the store will give her credit to buy something else.
Here's a picture of the bra in question http://www.annsummers.com/single.asp...cat=1&pid=2789 - she saw it in a magazine and thought it was cute (I took that as a hint), and she was disappointed they don't do DD cups. The net bit apparently unbuttons to reveal nipples a la surprise, so I guess getting the slightly larger 36D is the lesser of two evils. Thanks again. |
these gadget bras are all crap quality so D or DD doesnt matter theyll fall apart in no time, bought them for my gf too, she puts it on, you look jump on her rip it off and its in the closet
basically :) |
