Difference between surfers and webmasters.
 

On the paysite www.paulmarkhamteens.com we have a star system where the members vote for the best sets and content, so we know what they like.

On the content store we see what webmasters like by the sales figures.

There are some glaring differences.

As expected girl like;

CHRISTINE,

all do very well and so they should.

But some girls pop up that never sold well.

MEGGY,
CHELSEA,
all these girls appear in the top 5 star catagory because of a consistant vote from members.

Also some sets that on the content store sell slowly on the paysite are firm favourites.

boy girl video,
Solo girl video,
Videos that have hardly sold, yet the paysite members love them.

As for prefering exclusive to non exclusive, the star rating system tells the opposite picture. The majority of the top voted sets are non exclusive. Seems surfers buying memberships don't have time to see it everywhere. They spend time and money looking at porn.

The other thing they love is new stuff added, I say new stuff but just new to the site. They seem to view the sets we put up straight away, these sets get a lot of views whether they are new and exclusive or been around a while.

Just a few views from two sides of the same coin.

It's all about the traffic. That might work best for you but for somebody else it might work the other way around.

It's what the members are looking at, so I assume it's what they like.

The sites buying my content will generally have the same type of members my site has. There are exceptions but not that much.

The problem could be that many in this side of the business know all about programming, traffic and affiliates, but little about porn.

The ones that are liked are good scenes. The five girl set has so for made us $$7,000 in magazine sales.

Generally the figures are very similar, just a few exceptions.

I think on the less popular girls it's webmaters not seeing the "heat" the girls bring to the work.

On the boy girl I have not got a clue because when I recently asked clients what they needed more of the leading anser was boy girl teen videos. I know it's very popular gettilg loads of views, BB gets listed more on free sites and drives more traffic. So can someone tell me why that sets is dragging its feet saleswise?
