Heading to a haunted house
 

to make the munchkin happy. I'm not sure how 'haunted' it will be, since it's put on by the local school, but if it makes him happy, it is all good.

I have already earned massive good mom brownie points in the last 24 hours. I stayed up extra late doing laundry, as he realized at bedtime last night that today was Career Day, and he wanted to wear his Aikman jersey to school, and it was dirty.

I also went to see him for lunch at school today, and tried not to show the massive headache a room full of yammering children was giving me.

Watch out for orbs!

No orbs, but I did take an eye shot.

Not the fun kind either.

We ended up going to two of them. At the second, this Dr. Demento type person was doing autopsies. He jerks a limb off and squeezes it. I guess it was supposed to make me think I was getting shot with blood.

All I know is that he hit me right in the eye and I about lost my contact.
