Billing Systems
 

Hello, all -

I've been doing some research on several billing systems, large and small, and will be publishing some research in the next few weeks regarding this research. I think it will benefit the community as a whole, and should help weed out the bad, and promote the good.

This research is being done completely independently, and I have not, and will not, receive any sort of kickback or commission. This was done by me, on my own time, due to the frustration that I've had over the last few months, trying to find a billing system that, for lack of better words, didn't fucking suck.

I've done research on about 20 of them, but I know there have to be others out there that I have not found. I would like to include these in my report, as well.

What I'm asking you guys to do, is help me find some other billing systems. To keep this report non-biased, I will not tell you ahead of time which billing systems that I have researched, until I finish and publish the report.

If you all would be so kind as to throw down the names of some billing systems which I may or may not have seen, I would greatly appreciate it. There is one caveat, however; the billing system must only provide online payment processing. The billing system will not sell goods over the Internet, only services, i.e. membership services, rebilling, etc etc.

Thanks again for the time, and I'm hoping that adding additional information to my research will really impress a lot of you.

Update -

You know what, on top of that, I am thinking of also complimenting this report with a list of features that people like, dislike, and would like to see. Depending on these additional responses, I will write up this report.

I greatly appreciate your offer, but as promised, I cannot disclose any of the systems that I've researched, until the report is done.

I'm sure others would appreciate it if you were to list the systems which you know of, so that they can investigate them in the meantime. If I see any on that list which I have not gone into, I will include them.

On that note, if there are any people who are associated with other billing systems, please feel free to submit your name here.

Think of the difference that you all could make - if we had a definitive guide as to what billing systems to use, not backed up just because of the company was suggested, but rather because you made up your own mind based on facts and real-world experiences that others have had with the system - that would be truly special, wouldn't it?

Reviews and reports are always good to have. But I am not getting my hopes up. Too often the nitty-gritty details are missing (info that only actual users would know), or the reviewer is not comprehensive enough. Also, the importance of other users comments and perspective (aka experiences) on each billing company really makes a difference. And reviews/reports often get outdated fast and are rarely updated. I look forward though to reading your report.
