Is XXXJay trying to rip people off?
 

Don't get me wrong, I give a lot of respect to jay and the way he (used?) to handle his business, but this week some things happened which really made me think. Here is what happened:

- Jay tries to trade links with a FAKE PR 7 site:

Here the domain received a fake pr 7 which can be acheived by redirecting a domain to another high pr domian for a while (till the pr update happens). you can do it yourself by registering a new domain and redirecting to google and place at least one link to this domain (to make sure it gets spidered) then after the pr update you have a fake pr 10. however, it will not be a valid one like in jays case, and google will correct the problem asap (like it happened in jay's case).
I cannot believe that this happened to jay who claims to be a search engine expert (even offers seo) by accident.

- Jay was ripping down a site and used its html (only changed the sponsor links). IMO too much drama for such a case, but jay always claimed to be VERY integer and hated this kind of doing business. That is why he cursed everyone using his style of building galleries and linking the pics on html pages with descriptions (if you don't know what i am talking of then you probably are not a very adult se insider). Maybe by jay's high standards this kind of copyright infringement should not happen.


You can make you own opinion whether jay is a cheater or not. It might be that jay is involved in too many projects and looses control over his empire while his employees or partners keep not up with his high standarts. Who knows.

#1 i dont know how that mistake happened , all i can think of is he got gyped by someone he figured he didnt even have to check the validity of the pr.

#2 he copied a simple frame format ( possibly , i dont even know he did but ) unless he accused others of doing it that shouldnt have been i dont think its fair to call him out on that, he may have "gloated" over his format being copied , but i dont think he would be upset over something so trivial ..


jay seems like a fair guy to me.

you probably missunderstood what is the deal here: not copying the 'method' using frames is the deal, but copying the entire work of collecting paysites etc. If you think collecting those paysites is not work then ok come and work for me collecting paysites and making descriptions for them. I will even pay you.

#1 there is no gfy thread - this is the big deal drama. Either jay was trying to trick people into trades with a fake pr domain, or he knows shit about search engines and should quit charging people usd 300/hr

Maybe i am , as far as i could tell he just copied the one format and then created the rest on his own. But even if he did copy the whole format , i dont think thats such a terrible thing.. as long as he doesn't harp at others for doing the same thing i suppose..

I was doing the same sort of thing years ago and everyone copied me , so i started hiding links and text and such in my creations so i could profit when people copied my shit ;)

#1 - I was suprised as anyone else to see I had a PR7. I didn't do anything behind the scence to do it. If you leave the www off I have a PR7. I was wondering if anyone was stupid enough to bit on it...nobody did and it was really a joke anyways.

#2 - When I see a couple 100 page site that is build with my code that I don't own on another domain -- it does bother me -- that shit was like so 2 years ago -- and where is that site now. I don't even remeber the name now.

#3 - Terenzo is a fag.

jay all that is fine and dandy but i think many people actually believe you are or have stolen tother peoples code or html.

Dodge it all you want, but the above statement doesnt really say anything about whether you deny or acknowledge to copying that guys work.

People steal my gallery deasigns everyday, that doesnt give me the right to go copy someone elses.

just my worthless two cents, but ive had Stile and countless other (big timers( ) steal from me, and when its brought to the board its always like this if you have traffic and a nhame.

I busted Stile stealing my galleries, no one really cared. Candyflip selling my stolen galleries, he still posts here and sells his sig. No one cares in the end really if yuou are "cool" on the board

I do remember. Him and another guy contacted someone I know and threatened him because he used similar tactics; promopics on paysitename-pics.html, paysitename-porn.html etc etc html documents.

Nothing was stolen, just similar link tactics. If I'm not mistaken they had him link back to their sites as a "penalty".

BTW Stile even contacted adult.com or board mods and had my "Stile is stealing my galleries" thread removed.

So it goes to show you how much power, the ones who DO THE STEALING have over those of us WHO ARE CREATIVE.

I learned over 2 years ago that the big names can steal from you, you can make a thread about it, and they can have the thread pulled and you are stuck with nothing.

i doubt Jay would steal anything from anyone, people have been copying his style for years though

Dude, read what I said again. I own a couple 1000 page domain -- all of the pages I wrote from scratch --- most are PHP DB driven anyways -- I've been copied a million times. Instead of raging about it like you wankers are doing -- I just carried on, built out my site, and made a shitload of money -- while Terenzo and these other faggots ate my dust -- now they have turned to haters becasue the can't afford gas money while I fly all over the world -- I've been in the Biz for 8 years -- I've done 1000's of thing I've seen emulated or even blatently copied -- I used to whine about it , but, I'm too big for that now.

On the PR7 -- that was right during the PR update -- it looks like google is giving that domain a normal treatment now:

For all the google illiterates here who think they have to post funny pics and make stupid comments, here I explain how such a fake pr7 can be achieved:

- basically, google treats "free-monsters-of-cock-movies.com" and "www.free-monsters-of-cock-movies.com" as seperate domains unless google can figure out it is the same site

- prior the latest google pr update "free-monsters-of-cock-movies.com" was redirected - in google's eyes - to an Indian pr7 domain while "www.free-monsters-of-cock-movies.com" was a normal porn site

- after the pr update the domain "free-monsters-of-cock-movies.com" became pr7 as it is seen as a Indian pr7 domain while "www.free-monsters-of-cock-movies.com" kept is legit pr3

- jay tried to fool webmasters by trying to "to take advantage" (his own words) of this situation so he could gain more links to "www.free-monsters-of-cock-movies.com" and boost it's pr

my :2 cents: are that I don't like others trying "to take advantage" of such situations, even if committed by the bullet-proof xxxjay.
