I personally dont care if webmasters steal my galleries, I got more then I know what to do with, if they wanna take my gallery lists and reproduce em they can go nuts.... my Clickzs codes are burried in them and my galleries are always on the top anyways :)

not trying to start a pissing match here, but since you brought up the other thread... and it was not about whether the gallery builder would care, because I agree with you, the more place that show my galleries the better, and even better if I didn't have to submit to them...

But...... what that other guy is framing on his site is the work that goes into reviewing, and the popularity to get the better submissions.

I'll say it again... Try Reviewing your own gallery submissions for any length of time and you'll know just what I'm talking about. It is a very labor intensive task, that usually crashes your browser at least once per night. The guy that copies, steals, frames, or what fucking ever gets to avoid these parts os the JOB, and that just isn't fucking right!!!!!

Turbo, trust me, I run autogallery just like you (hell after you posting about changing the default pass, I went and did it haha) I get more submissions then anyone can believe. I have 5 moderators and still about 2000 in the queqe.... I am beyond the point of caring if someone steals my shit anymore.. Besides if you wanna deter them, you can put things like Cjultra Out links in the tags (if you trade from a page) or anything else to attach to the urls that would make it such a headache that people will stop.... There are so many scripts out there, that you just say what page you want to copy and they grab all the galleries for you.... Big names are subject to this.... Moviepost, Hun and more.... maybee they dont know maybee they do, but thats life on the internet

yea removing the script code takes 10 seconds.

However, after giving some thought to this wouldn't it be very simple to use php for linking to galleries and just store the gallery url's in a file?

Damn thieves would have to actually surf every link to get the real url?

I don't know enough about scripting to honestly answer you on that one mika, but I'm sure that there is a way to do it easily with any method.
