Registrar Netfirms: STAY AWAY !!!!!
 
Registered 2 domains on the 12th of october.

Paid with my credit card, as I do with Godaddy and DirectNic.

Change DNS to my Name Servers... Everything works following days. Fine. Not ready to start developping them, so I leave it as is.

I go tonight to ftp to the domain, doesn't work. LogIn in their lousy interface, and I get this:

I also registered, for a client, a mainstream domain name, and that one doesn't need confirmation or anything .... Strange no ?


Conclusion:

I just registered the names with Godaddy.

And sent Netfirms this email :

Do you have a single idea of how many stupid emails I receive everyday ????

How many are sent to my " junk " box automatically ???

BTW:

- I registered with Godaddy.
- I better not see a single charge by you morons on one of my credit cards.

You should be ashamed of yourself... mainly being Canadian... So my money went to the US.
CONCLUSION:

STAY AWAY FROM NETFIRMS.COM


NOTE: AM ON THE PHONE HELPING A CLIENT TO REGISTER WITH GODADDY... ( SHE IS FRENCH ).

Update from those amateurs:

My email is [email protected] ... That didn't give them a clue ?

Nameservers were switched right away to ns2 & ns3.pdghosting.com !

And a ping of the domain would have given them the IP were the site is ...

BTW, no where in their TOS does it say they don't allow adult, but that is really beside the point!

So Fuck them!.

Next time you need domains... let me know. Moniker.com is actively involved with and supports the Adult Industry, unlike some very large players out there. We are the 12th largest ICANN Accredited registrar.
