put em right out on the streets the way we did as kids - make them walk until their feet bleed and their bag of candy weighs more than they do and they start dragging it on the sidewalk and it splits open and they lose half their haul - nothing wrong with a razor blade in an apple - we all had to deal with that at least once - nobody died.

don't forget the old lady on the block who hands out zip lock bags with 5 pennies in them...

And screw reflective tape, flashlights, glow sticks, and all that other saftey shit.
While your at it send your kid out with a pillow case as their candy bag, anything else is just stupid.

It is about time the children of today understood what risk and rewards is all about.

oh yea - always a few do gooders too who wanted to just give out some pennies to put in a UNICEF box some kids were brainwashed into bringing along - told them I don't trust UNICEF as far as I can throw them and to just give me some candy and if not to fuck off.

Thats just part of the holiday and experience they need to learn. Be stealthy or at least learn to sacrifice the slower one in your group to the band of older kids out to mug you out of your loot.

I remember years back when i would walk around with a pillowcase and no costume and just take candy. My parents would drop me off and pick me up hours later.

This year I will stun gun any kid I see with a cell phone who rings my doorbell.

the christians strive on fear, and its during the remaining Pagan holidays that they have been using fear of "candy apples and razors" or poinsoned candy during Halloween.

ive read about this since Geraldo was doing those shows about the satan killings. I was very interested in them. Guess what, there has never been any - nor has any baby killing satanist killed a baby in america.

its all fake and made up to instill fear in the heathens and non christians.

Kids should really enjoy halloween. It's their night.

Kids definitely should get out and trick or treat in their neighbourhoods. I live sandwiched between an elementary school and a high school -- every year we get more than 150 kids at our door!
