ServerGenius 10-27-2005 09:45 AM

or ncftp from the shell :)

i can't ever get flashfxp to work either, fucking annoying too, cause it really could have come in handy lately

u-Bob 10-27-2005 09:53 AM

if flashfxp doesn't work, the problem might be with your server(s).

flashfxp works fine for me.

Why don't you ask your host to do that ?

It is much easier for us than for you... As long as you have SSH access on the old server.

Otherwise, if you have SSH access on both :

execute on new server:

rsync -av -e ssh username@oldserverhost:/home/old_home/ /home/new_home/

Well , the good old way:

d/l your site to local drive, d/l databases using either your control panel or phpMyAdmin to local drive.

Upload site, import db with phpMyadmin.
