Google needs to split it's stock

It's nothing compared to Berkshire Hathaway's Class A stock.

The dollar price of a stock has nothing to do with it being expensive

I was reading in bloomberg a few weeks ago they aren't going to split the stock. They will follow in Buffets footsteps.

Bad move IMHO but ah well who cares. They are rich enough.

Very true, but its investor mentality. Its a flaw inherit in comsumption habits of individuals that carries over into investing.

Stock splits actually tend to result in making a stock MORE expensive, at least in the short term.

And to think it IPO'd at only $6. Buffett is a genius. :)

i got in at $120

understood....but it's a psychological thing.....i bet you more people will buy the stock if it splits and price will go up even more....which makes it better for me since i own it

i think they will beat estimates by alot again.....Google Base will do good just because all the hype around Google right now, and in my opinion so far they have always built superior products compared to competitors...i would be sh!tting in my pants right now if i was ebay
