Do private amateur sites' partnership work?
Hi there,
I'm new to this board so please :)))) I've been running my site www.sexymarie.com for over a year and a half now and I have a question concerning 'amateur site partnership programs'. I started mine a couple of months ago and altough many webmasters subscribed to it they don't send much traffic. So I guess the reasons can be: - there are much better partnership programs outthere (so why they bothered signing up at all) - they were disappointed with the signup ratio (I don' t think so as they didn' t seem to send much traffic at all) - those were the guys hoping to get some free promotional stuff - can be anything else? Could you help me with the answer? Should I work on it or just leave it and concentrate on my own traffic? And one more thing... which of the tours I should use for partnership program? At the moment I have the following: 1. http://www.sexymarie.com/ 2. http://www.sexymarie.com/index_new.htm 3. http://www.sexymarie.com/news.shtm 4. http://www.sexymarie.com/dial_tour_1.htm I've been playing for them for a while but still NONE of them works significantly better than the other... sorry for the long post thanks, Marie |
I have been on the internet way too long and I couldnt even figure out where to click on your page to continue the tour or where to join.... that might be your first major problem, everything is too scattered and you even have a forced exit console with the OK button.... like really, treat surfers with respect.... that shit only works on free sites, not pay sites
|
Word of advice, partner programs are dead...
Unless you can keep members at your site for 4+ months start paying per member or join, then more webmasters will use your proggy... Ypur page has to way to much text, i got lost in it.. Also why charge 13 a month? I gather you really dont much content at all.. Post a password here, lets us take a look inside..:thumbsup :321GFY :winkwink: |
yup, most webmasters are only sending their traffic to pay per signup prigrams because they just like looking at what appears to be a higher payout...
even with a pay per signup program, you still want a shitload of your own traffic...or learn how to shave ;))) just concentrate on keeping your members for a long time by keeping a well maintained and constantly updated member's area...fuck webmasters, just work with your own traffic ;))) |
"fuck webmasters, just work with your own traffic ;)))"
or a variation of that could be "fuck webmasters, after you get more to fuck" seems to work for some... |
Well Marie the problem with your site is the same as most single amateur paysites. You've got enough traffic leaks on your front page to qualify as a submarine.
I'm not going to send you my hard earned traffic so that when they get to your front door you can bounce them off somewhere else to improve your ranking on a toplist. If you want webmasters to send you traffic make a tour that has ZERO traffic leaks on it, maybe pop a console after they leave your site completely, but not until then. Save the traffic trades for your own traffic. Have the webmasters traffic going to a page designed for one thing and one thing alone, to SELL MEMBERSHIPS |

I meant it figuratively...but now that you mention it... ;)))) |
no one will push a partnership with only 7 sale,,,
raise that shit to 29.99 thats more like it |
Get a pro to design the site for you.
Or if you want to keep the amateurish look, get rid of the traffic-leaks (as mentioned above). Rise the price too. :2 cents: |

It is so simple to create mirror tours. Use one for your referral program traffic, one for your self-generated traffic and one for traffic trades. Check out my site and you will see http://www.allrealgirls.com/tour (self-generated traffic has an exit console to a referral program) http://www.allrealgirls.com/tour2 (pops a friends page and all friends page traffiic is filtred thru this tour) http://www.allrealgirls.com/tour3 (for my partners to send traffic to. no consoles) Also another thing I have seen with amateur sites is that they will offer multiple billing options on a tour (eg. ccbill for checks/cc and ibill for 900 and as a backup cc processor) when the referring webmaster can only get paid on one of them. This sucks big time cause you might acutally have a chance of making a sale but the user decides for whatever reason to use the backup processor and I lose the sale. I have a site that does promote amateur partner programs most of the tours are clean. The few that aren't are personal friends so I let them slide a little on some of my normal requirements. In my opinion a good solo girl site can convert very well given that the content is exclusive and the sites have personality that is lacking in mulit-girl sites. I have done very well with many of them in the past and continue to today. |
Amateur Niche sites are the real
money makers these days. The days of Glamour Mega Sites are on the rapid decline. Amateur sites that focus on 1 girl are the biggest loosers in the money making game, unless your a person in the magazines or tv. My 3 cents..:winkwink: |
You really need to clean up that design. Very messy.

I do really good with this Amateur girl <a href=http://mms.sweetcash.net/cgi-bin/mrs/hit.cgi?m=a99507&ref=sweetcash825&s=w&r=sweetcash8 25>Sweet Georgia</a> surfers can join for 4 bucks and get access to 5 of her friends site. She keeps members for 6 months minimum and its 60% recurring. The 3.95 trials convert to monthly everytime, shit these chicks offer real live cams where they fuck guys on cam and talk to them on the phone, most paysite shit is faked live hahaha, and for 4 bucks? Shit, cant beat that...not to mention she was Miss Nude Internet 2002 hahaha
she converts under 1:60 always. <a href=http://mms.sweetcash.net/cgi-bin/mrs/hit.cgi?m=a99507&ref=sweetcash825&s=w&r=sweetcash8 25>Check out her partnership page...</a> :thumbsup |
You should create a clean tour for partners to send their traffic to. No one wants to send their traffic to a site that has traffic leaks that they won't get credit for. You can keep your tour for non-partners complete with links out, but for partners clean it up.
Also, the thing about single girl amateur sites that makes them unique is the girl, so you shold be generous with allowing webmasters to use your content for galleries, free sites, and avs sites. These images don't have to be yor top notch stuff found in your members area, it could be stuff that you didn't think you had a use for inside your site, or whatever. it makes it easier to sell your site when the webmaster uses you in the promotion. No one can really promote a particular girl site using a different girl's picture's. You should also be more creative in the banner ads. Have a bigger variety in different sizes and shapes. You should email your webmsaters who have signed up and ask them what they need to promote your site more. many won't respond, but maybe a few will and then bend over backwards to help make sure those few have everything they need to promote your site. If you get about 10 webmasters sending your 2-5 signups a day you will do well. |

some webmasters still think a click to a toplist weights more than a click to the own join page. this is good - so the surfers will signup on my sites ;)
|
I maybe stoned but the sign up now link goes to some top rank script....errr...in my opinion you should have a link..in big text or graphic going to the join page on every page.
|
I like the page. Amateur sites can have huge member retention because the guys really like the chick. The low cost makes it less likely they cancel and you get tons of rebills.
Amateur sites only work if there is alot of interaction between the amateur star & the members. If I had an amateur site I would try sending traffic to some page like that. |
