Linklist owners: Please help

looks good to me.. only problem I see would be that you'd need tons of different setups to make them different enough

You mean different templates? We were going to use this template for all sites, why would we need that many different ones?

templates are a big NO-NO in the world of freesites.. if you use that same setup for what, hmm more than 10 times you got yourself banned..

I see... But these are free hosted sites for our affiliates. Wasn't going to submit them. You think linklistowners will have a problem listing more than 10 FHS with the same template?

hmm good question.. I doubt they'd list many with the same look but I'm not a linklistowner myself :) some of them better hang around here and might be able to answer :)

i would take them at my 3 LL hosted stuff is fine though a few differnt styles would be a good idea as well

I guess we have to invent a new design for the next batch then. Didn't know linklists wanted lots of different templates, I guess you learn something new every day :)

Anna_O - not bad but Id think that you would want to have a little more "exciting" text to draw the surfers into the site - kinda bland right now (sort of like as an after thought - you might wanna go check this site)

I would also get rid of the exit link to Google - just a traffic leak and none of the large LLs require an exit

As far as templates, I was talking with another LL owner about this because of another program that was using one template - and we both agreed that we would drop using their HFS's as it isn't creating sales - surfers will recognize it immediately - and the advertising will be "background noise" after the first time they see that template - and again - a lot of the larger LL's will use one HFS and then not use the rest if they are all the same template.

Its pretty easy to create templates - especially if you stay away from the graphics approach - free sites shouldnt have the graphics that have been associated with hosted galleries - they are real simple and text driven - we are getting to the point that we decline free sites if they go overboard with graphics - it doesnt sell and its a waste of time.

If you need some extra info I wrote an article that was picked up in Klixxx magazine some time ago for paysite owners about hosted free sites - I think they have it listed as a web tip now #75 or hit me up and Ill give you a link as I dont think it would be appropriate to post it here :)

If each Hosted Free Site has it's own unique TITLE and DESCRIPTION, I would.
