A friend if going to LA needs a nice place to stay money is not an issue.

I totally agree with that! If you want to be near the party, the Marquis is great.

Either the Four Seasons or the Beverly Wilshire (also a Four Seasons) or Raffles L'Ermitage are all fantastic hotels in Beverly Hills.

For the beach area, I'd suggest Le Merigot or the Fairmont in Santa Monica, Loews or Shutters aren't bad but not as nice.

We should get Jim Henley in here to add his two cents, he's always got the hookup...

I got to agree with Kimmy

Now if he wants to entertain ladies of the night in his room, then stay at the Mondrian or the Standard both places have tons of workers hanging out in the bars.

I stayed at lowes on the beach in santa monica myself the pics on the site looked hot when i got there it was a mess, the balcony they told me they have wasnt a balcony you can go out on and the place wasnt nice at all.
