What does it mean?
60 whales die in Australian mass stranding.
http://www.breitbart.com/images/2005...lt-186x245.jpg Pilot whales, which can grow up to six metres (20 foot) long, frequently beach themselves in a phenomenon that remains a mystery to scientists. 1) One of them may stray too close to the shore in rough seas. Then the distress signal it sends out attracts other members of the pod. 2) It might be something to do with the magnetic fields that they use to navigate. 3) Armageddon? |
That's weird. Of course definitely not an armaggedon but why can't scientists explain this phenomenon?
I hate seeing stuff like this. I don't understand it either.
It happens all the time . . . due primarily to the fact that the pods are led by a male whale, and you know how they hate to ask for directions
Armageddon for sure. :disgust

My simple theory is that they want to get from point A to point B and when a land mass gets in the way they cant reconfigure their compass to go around. :winkwink:
Sometimes a sick/older whale will beach itself to die and the others will follow.. sad. Very sad.
that sucks :(
Oh... that su*ks... whales are so extinct nowadays, they dont have to die!
poor whales! :( |
It means canned fish industry will grow bigger.
AWWW how cute!
They want to become just like us. |
Some have suggested that some noise sources on land attract them... I suppose that until we come up with a whale translation machine, we'll never know.
the seventh sign?
I thought I heard it was due to global warming

i don't like seeing and hearing such stories like that..whales nowadays are very extinct and can only be seen in some parts of the world...australia is very lucky to have them in their country...i think that should be solved.
damn, that sucks...really weird
