pictures of storm damage in boston from today 10/25
It's been raining through the night and into the morning now. A tree hit my neighbors house it's crazy.
This first picture is not great but shows how the tree landed on a house. http://www.corehosting.com/storm1.jpg Here's the actual tree that landed on the neighbors house. http://www.corehosting.com/storm2.jpg Below are two pictures of a tree that split in half blocking the cross street. http://www.corehosting.com/storm3.jpg http://www.corehosting.com/storm4.jpg |
Our house is on a street lined with 100-yr-old trees, and we have a huge one on our front lawn that makes me nervous every time the winds pick up. It would easily crush our place if it topples the wrong way.
Judging by your pics, that tree looks quite close to the street. If so, would that make the city of Boston responsible for property damage? SilentKnight |
That sucks. Is that the remnant of Hurricane Wilma?

Try living on the Southcoast on the beach. I keep waiting to lose the power with these 50+ mph winds.
After those 10 days of rain I thought we'd have enough of it, but no, now we get more. |
ry0t has it completely passed yet? I live in the South Shore. I was woken up by strong winds so I moved my car in from the driveway into the garage. It seems pretty quiet right now though.
