Require 2257 on Galleries?

    Require 2257 on Galleries?

    Hi all, recently I was advised to disable my TGP's feature that checks for 2257 links on submitted galleries. I was wondering if that's a good idea or not. I don't think it would be. I'm just wondering how big of a legal threat it could pose to me. Any info would be appreciated.

          check manually if the information is there....
          95% of tgp's have silly link limits.... eg: 6 outside links, requiring 3 recips....

          When I autogenerate my galleries, I don't have a link.. I have text at the bottom stating where it is.... from what I've read, that's a pretty standard way of doing things...
          besides, as far as i know, as long as you don't have hardcore thumbs, you're not required to maintain 2257 info on the galleries you link to...

          but, I'm Canadian.. soo.. I don't really know too much about 2257, nor care

              Man, you're all over my posts. lol I wish other people would do that...

              Anyway, I just wanted to be cautious about this whole thing. Can anybody else back up what kaori said? Maybe someone who IS american and DOES have to deal with this shit?
