Ever Been Lobster Diving?
 

My friend invited me lobster diving in Malibu. I was tempted to go before he told me that he sees sharks every time he goes. I would lose my shit if I saw a shark :helpme Anyone here ever been?

Yeah, i have been in the carribean and in florida - west palm beach. Its a blast. Nothing like coming up from diving, walking across the beach, and boiling up some lobster and drinking beer while you recover from the dive.

Its fun. Just take a big knife, and whtch what the fuck you are doing.

Yeah, I might just have to man the fuck up and get over my shark phobia. I'm sure if I had a big knife I would feel more secure :pimp

Lobster diving is fun. Been a couple times out in Oxnard by the naval station.

Not while lobster diving. Besides, when it's night diving you can see anything anyway :1orglaugh

Aside from that, I've seen plenty of sharks when diving. They leave you alone.

Don't you bring a flash light at Night?

Sharks really aren't out to get divers. Its surfers and things that resemble injured animals splashing around on the surface.

Yeah, you bring a flashlight otherwise it's pitch black and you don't know which way is up. I've only done a few night dives and none were very good visibility, but it's still fun... especially when you catch a big ass lobster. They're quick though so you really have to sneak up on them and when arms length, just pin it to the ground before putting it your bag.

Nop, but sounds like something very exciting to do.

I did a lot of lobster diving when I lived in Ft. Lauderdale. We would go out and spend the weekend at my buddy's beach house and lobster dive. It was really fun even though I'm not too big on Lobster.

I would recommend going, sharks or not.
