Verotel 'Tickets Club' Vs Verotel Pro
I'm looking for a credit card processing and due to Visa restrictions ( I live in Australia) I've had to rule out CCbill, CCBilleu and Paycom (eu). So...I've been reading over Verotel's services.
Has anyone here got an opinion on their 'Ticket's Club' system...which to me seems a simplistic solution, though not an ideal one, or an opinion on their 'Verotel Pro' services (setup cost $1500 u.s). I'm looking for good, bad, ugly or indifferent thoughts...are they reliable, easy to work with, problem free or problem plagued. That kind of feedback. All would be appreciated! |
bump for you mate.

Verotel are very nice and easy to work with. No doubt.
The ticketsclub aint a good solution though, itīs simply not very good for convertions to have the custumers taken offsite etc... |
Thanks for the feedback...much appreciated. Anyone else with stories to tell...good or bad?
|
Yeah Verotel are based here . . very helpful bunch recently
Ticketsclub works for most subscription sites . . Pro - I don't know |
it is my secondary. no problems till now. But if I were u let it as secondary and CCbill as first.
|
Verotel's good we use them as a secondary processor, but definitely spend the $'s to get the 'pro' set-up.

Thanks for the feedback guys...unfortunately I have to rule CCBill out as although I can incorporate in either the U.S or the E.U and get a physical street presence, the principal on the account must also have either a drivers license, passort or i.d card from that region. Being an Aussie I can't provide that, so Verotel it is.
Can you tell me, is the $1500 setup fee a once off payment or is there an ongoing fee per year for continued use? What benefits does the 'Pro' setup offer? |

pro all the way, and well worth it for the class of service Verotel provides... to be honest, the TicketsClub thing is only appropriate for "micro sites" in my opinion, and not for full-on Paysites that move any decent amount of volume..!

I have been using Ticketsclub on a microniche site for a long time, and I've been pretty impressed. Considering upgrading to Pro as I imagine it would help ratios a lot to have a custom signup page ... but for this site Ticketsclub has worked great. Also, I get my weekly direct deposit from them like clockwork.
Overall, I have no complaints about Verotel. -P |
I'm in Australia and had to switch from CCbill when they changed the regs 3 years ago. Moved Verotel Pro and have never looked back. They are rock solid convert soooooooooooo much better than CCbill and the $1500 is a well worth it one off fee (I think you can pay it off using your sales fees)

I've been using TicketsClub for years and overall it's ok:
* Payments/wires ALWAYS on time and 100% - NEVER a missed payment. * They had a rough patch when the larger processors were going down and everyone was signing up with them - their servers were overloaded and the signup forms were not coming up very quickly (TicketsClub) BUT, that has been upgraded dramatically and the signup forms are pretty snappy now. The non-standard format of TicketsClub does seem to dampen conversion rates significantly (the joining of a club and entering through theatre metaphor, while legally essential to their cc compliance as 3rd pp does confuse prospective members). Surfers usually do a double take when they transition from your join page to the first TC signup page. Many surfers feel like they have gone another site and are concerned about signing up for something else instead of what they were just looking at. I've run comparisons several times over several years with TicketsClub against a variety of other more traditional signup form processors and I get up to double the signups with single-form 'enter your cc info and go' processors (as opposed to TicketsClub), but in the end, Verotel is a great company to deal with. * Verotel also offers some really good multi-currency features so you can overload your signup forms with prices/options in local currencies and according to the 'Big Mac Index' for max returns in given regions. They are NOT US-based which lightens the load re DOJ zaniness. I would very much like to and plan to upgrade to Verotel Pro but the last time I was considering it they were having their server overload problems with TicketsClub and I was nervous about risking the investment to upgrade to Pro. It sounds like Pro is significantly better than TicketsClub according to the posts here. Thanks for the feedback. -Dino |
