Any movies worth going to?

I want to go to a movie tonight but don't know if anything is out worth watching. Fill me in guys, anything good out right now? This seems like a pretty slow year aside from a few huge hits.

Funny thing is, most "huge" hits are not good at all IMO :) I prefer the smaller productions...Anyway, I can't advice you, since here in The Netherlands we are almost 8859438 years behind:)

Flightplan was ok

Slow year? The number of good movies that have come out since the turn of the century I could count on one hand. Don't get me wrong, there's plenty I'm entertained enough to watch, but most aren't anything worth paying admission to the theaters for...

as for advice...well "The Fog" is the biggest money maker at the moment, but whether or not it's good /shrug. Only movie I'd even consider seeing that's out at the moment is "40 year old virgin" but I've heard mixed commentaries about that movie as well.

I really liked Flightplan. First I thought it was gonna be an alien type flick, but I didn't get disappointed afterall. Go see it.

Smaller productions have always been better (IMO) because they don't have the money to spend on mass hype advertising like the big boys do now. So they gotta earn their green and bring in the masses by actually having a quality flick.

I didn't realize 40 Year Old Virgin was still in. I could use a good laugh, might do that. Flightplan is an option, I can't stop picturing Panic Room though when I think about it.

Try Red Eye or Flight Plan, it's a good movie!

Yeah 40 year old virgin was a good laugh. I can't watch any movie with Jodie Foster.. I dislike her intensely for some reason I do not understand. :)

Lord of War and The Legrnd of Zorro.

I am a big fan of Nicholas Cage and Antonio Banderas.

TheMob 10-25-2005 01:02 AM

Wallace & Gromit

jojojo 10-25-2005 01:06 AM

doesnt anyone read reviews?? most of those movies mentioned suck ass...

if you want to go see a good movie see "Serenity" its a big budget sci-fi epic movie with as much and as good special fx, better plot, better acting, better script, and funny too.

It didn't have much promotion but it was amazing and there will be sequals:

also check yahoo movies before you waste your time and money to step out the door :2 cents:

Saw 'Two For The Money' tonight. It was decent but worth waiting for video.
