Whoa, nobody won it...
The lotto 6/49 in Canada carried over again. It's now up to $40 million tax free.
That's right... in Canada our lotto winnings are tax fucking free :D I can't remember a time when the prize was this big. Forty Million... that's more dollars than their are people in Canada. |
tax free, but you still gotta live in the snow for most of the year! I'd rather pay taxes on my lottery winnings personally.
|
It's winter here 4-5 months out of the year.
It's summer here 4-5 months out of the year. The other two to four months it's either spring or fall. I'm actually looking forward to the snow, winter can be incredible if you know how to enjoy it. And I would so rather NOT pay taxes on my lotto winnings. |
It's still 90° here in October..... gets to a chilly 70° in January. I'll pay my taxes. Snow is really pretty..... on TV! :winkwink:
|
You either get it, or you don't.
Dude, if I won $40 mil I think I could fucking afford to move south (if I wanted). :1orglaugh |

Oh, and I forgot....
:1orglaugh |
I see a little snow maybe once every decade... and I like it that way :thumbsup
Most miserable winter I ever spent was in Great Lakes, IL in '80. It kept snowing and packing, I busted my ass several times trying to get around outside:xmas-smil |
i don't play lottery... you better get some job!
|
Ya can't win if you don't play.

I usually buy one set of numbers good for 10 draws. So I play the same set of numbers ten times. Costs me $30 for the ticket, and I usually win about half or more of it back in snagging small prizes like $2, $5 etc. It's fun. But that tax free 40 mil would be sweet. With that I could afford to upgrade my computer to the new pentium 350 platform. Maybe get windows 98 :D |
Dont worry they will learn not to do that.

You can buy a quick-pick set of numbers good for up to a year's worth of draws from what I hear. |

|

$40 Million Tax Free dollars? Big deal.
I'll take my $350 Million Powerball. One time lump sum payment brings it down to about $230 Million After taxes I'm still looking at a cool $150 million. awww the good ol' US of A. And thats just the Powerball. Mass Millions (just Massachusetts) is at about $20 Million. Mega Millions is up in the 90's. Then there is the Daily numbers, the big game. etc etc. period. |
I'm going to have to get me some tixs
|
damn that means i lost :(
|
cool! i can't win it, so good luck

As for the powerball and all other US lottories, game shows, etc..... I bet you didn't know that if a Canadian wins, well, your government still takes it's cut as per usual. HOWEVER... there is a company up here in Canada that can get that back for us. SO... if for example I were to win that powerball (which I won't, largely because they don't sell tickets for it here), but if I won it, I would get about the same $150 million. Then I can put in with this certain company to get back the rest of the win. They get me back about another $100+ million or so, then they take half.... leaving me with in the $200 mil range rather than your $150 million. Plain and simply put... Canada owns. :1orglaugh |
