Topical Storm "Alpha"??? Is it ever going to stop???
 

For cryin' out loud! Another storm is forming in the caribbean and they've named it 'Alpha'.

Sure it's historic as so many storms this year they ran out of names but at least so far they're saying it won't be a threat to the U.S.

Yet we've heard that before.

Let's hope Wilma dies off before hitting Florida and this new one just dies.

crap. There were this many storms in the 1940s. In fact, there may have been more, but they didn't have satellites to track the ones that didn't make landfall, and they didn't have the instruments on aircraft to measure the barometric pressures every three hours...

Before that was the cycle in the late 1800s, early 1900s....
