This thread is for us older people.
I think this thread should be a place where we can ask for some assistance on the lingo of the hip kids.
If there is a word or phrase you just never got, ask it here, as hopefully someone will answer for all of us. I will start off with an example. "All your base belong to us." <-- What the hell does that mean/refer to? |

from an older sega game |

Thats pretty funny, cause I have heard it so many times. Here it is:
This is from a game (I can't remember which) that was for the oringinal nintendo. Pretty much when nintento ruled the market during its heyday, there were so many badly translated games it wasn't funny. My favorite that I say to this day was in Wheel of Fortune, if you guessed a letter that was on the board it would have a person jumping up and down saying "hairy" instead of Hooray. This is another one of those games, poorly translated. |
A video game. Very old 1 at that.

C'mon, baddog - don't listen to these people, they're referring to your crack cocaine :1orglaugh

Your failure to understand that phrase has nothing to do with your age, sir.
The origin of the message is another planet, far beyond our galaxy. NOBODY knows what the fuck that means, though students of online marketing elevate it as an important case study in pre-un-premeditated virality. 2hp |
