BUSINESS PLAN - Porn pay site

Any idea where I can find a business plan for a porn pay site? You can review business plans for virtually ANY kind of company seeking investment but for this kind of company I can find NOTHING, and that is with significant amounts of research into.

Anyone?

Thank you!

thats wht i tell people who want me to write their business plan

writing a business plan makes you think of everything you may of forgotten.

there is a program out there called Business Plan Builder Pro. I've fooled around with it a few times. It should help you write it yourself, or give you an idea of what to write.

I think it should be law that all business owners write their own business plans.

Business plan?
Do you honestly think any of us actually had some sort of plan besides stay at home, look at naked chicks, work as little as possible, and get paid mad money?
If that was the case then well ummm we would also be organized, have lobbies, confront our public battles, and have a response team in place each time our industry catches unwarrented heat.

Look around you. The industries biggest board is called go fuck yourself, multi million dollar programs give away video game consoles as awards, would you hit it threads compared to business threads will result in a 200 to 1 response ratio.

i'd bet most people here don't have business plans, but a well thought out business plan is a good way of testing to see if your idea is sucessfull or not.

if you can't convince yourself in a business plan without fudging the numbers, it's definatly not going to work in the real world.

i think a poll should be here. to plan or not to plan

what's with all the business questions tonight?

Initially, we stuck right to it, 9-10 months into it, we expanded = more rev = more net income.

any good business plan should be left open so it can be amended or changed to reflect variables. kinda like the constitution in a way.

most business plans are written out on denny's placemats - start there

Hunter_ST 10-21-2005 09:05 PM

that computer program mentioned previously is a good one. generates serious looking shit if you need to impress someone.

of course, it helps if you have actually thought out your business plan, even if not in writing at this point.

but in writing, it will take on much more significance and help guide your business.

Many of the banks ask for a business plan during the application process for a merchant account. I wouldn't spaz over it, they just want to know you have thought out financing, expenditures etc. It doesn't have to be elaborate or done via a 'program'.

If you are wanting a REAL plan to begin and grow a business then I'd give that much more thought.

just my 2 cents ; )

2HousePlague 10-21-2005 09:25 PM

Back when I was a banker, I did SBA loans for a bit. The senior reviewer admitted to me he sometimes chose based on document layout.

vicki 10-21-2005 10:07 PM

Here's a quick synopsis for you ...
paragraphs on the following:
company overview - what is it you do and how
product or service offered
fullfillment basis - where/how you obtain the products being sold
target customers - who are they
marketing strategy- how do you plan to market to the target clients
competition - what strategies do you have that might give you an edge over competition
finances - what financial banking do you have etc etc
employees - give a history of experience of top management including yourself

Bold the paragraph headings plus keep it sweet and neat.
Don't pretend to be the greatest in the world, just explain your biz

hope that helps :)

I never stick to my original plans. You come up with a few good ideas and suddenly everything is going in a different direction.

Is this the software you refer to?
"Business Plan Pro" not "Business Plan Builder Pro". Or am I at the wrong website?

I don't think this guy is asking for help writing his own business plan, more point me in the direction of "making money in porn 101".

The reason you can't find publically published business plans is because most companies aren't actively searching for investment income like the dot bombers who went public & sought out millions to run simple message board communities. Shocking that they're not around anymore, isn't it?
