ya, that show & Oprah i cant watch. all they do is clap & holler.

I think after all these years they may have just done away with most of the studio audience now aside from other contestants and family members and just use some stupid ass canned clapping.

If you listen you hear the same people laughing and clapping..... really!

i'm talking more about the contestants though. they clap more than the audience. they clap for everything. they spin the wheel and they clap. pat sajak says something and they clap. someone farts and they clap. wtf...

Cause pat explains that this is his house, vanna is his biatch, and if they do not fucking clap then he will pimp slap them during a commercial break and purposly spin the final spin to land on 200.00 (you know he can hit any amount he wants 99% of the time by now)

because of this little device above, which interestingly enough was NOT USED BY folks like Johnny Carson. The old days were actual laughs but these days its all samples and synthetic applauds or actual crowds being paid to clap.

well before the show they tell everyone that the happiest most socialable people will get picked from the audience.. so your trying to get picked to go on the show so you want to look enthusiastic..

In reality they have a pre-show warmup where everyone walks around a banquet hall socializing , and in the audience is some show reps that walk around and pick people from the pre-show warmup. They usually tell the people before hand that they will be picked or ( might be picked , but to look suprised )

My aunt was going to go on Wheel of Fortune a long time ago, but she was afraid to go on TV. She had a friend at the network that got her foot in the door for her. She's really amazing at getting the puzzles, but won't go on TV.
