I'd short more stocks, but everytime I try to get shares from my shitty Canadian broker they don't have any to short.
|
I shorted TOL brothers a month ago for about a 15% move. Very hard to get big swings in this market.
|
I don't think I'll get in trouble for this one.. but I've been reading allstocks.com forum for a while. I just opened a account with choicetrade.com and plan to play in the penny market.

just futures, forex and other commodities

He was up to over $11k by the 14th of this month but I haven't seen where he is at now. But this guy has the best method that I've seen for making money with penny stocks. |
My accounting 201 prof yelled at me the other day.
He was trying to make a point for the basic accounting course. He said something like "Would you buy a stock you knew would go down?" I started laughing and saying "Of course!" He yelled at me to shut up because I would just confuse the rest of the class. :( |
Short stocks...... damn, I thought this thread was about Short SHORTS! "Who wears short shorts? We wear short shorts!". Maybe next time?
|
I have shorted stocks and made a few sheckles.
Cineplex was a good ride down. I don't see shorting as good in this market. That could change all of a sudden if Citibank and Bank of America really have fucked themselves with derivative plays. But that is just rumour right now. |
If you have a high tolerance for risk, then shorting can be a fun "game". You'd have more fun though going to vegas, playing the tables, and fucking a few strippers.
On the other hand, if you want to actually make some decent money, look to penny stocks. The right system will give you the holy grail : low risk, high return. |
