50 bucks epassporte if you can help me - do you knwo about TOR and privoxy?
ok, long story short, I'm using a program with TOR and privoxy, abd the program should not reveal my Ip address to the server that it connects with, but for some reason it does..
simplified example - lets say a server allows only two connections to that server from the same IP address, I'm using three PCs connected to the NET using the same router. I'm running a program that connects to that server trough TOR and privoxy - one on each of the two computers, which should give two different IPs. As soon as I connect using the same program on the third computer that server kicks me out, which means that it somehow detects my IP, but it shouldn't and before everybody and their mother starts bitching, I'm not trying to cheat or steal or anything like that, so don't waste my time if you know what I'm talking about leave your EMAIL address and I'll contact you with the details, if you can help me solve this you get $50.00 epassporte, as simple as that |
nettrust [at] gmail...
contact me, i got the same problems... it's even better to contact me on ICQ#: 53667259 so we can discuss and solve this issue... |
I'll email you because it's going to take me couple of minutes to describe the whole story, as soon as you return my email I'll hit you up on ICQ

I installed it on my PC at home and it worked just fine. Although it keeps routing through European countries and makes everything really slow. Make sure you have privoxy running first and then launch TOR (make sure it connects successfully) and then it should work. If you just have privoxy running then yeah, your IP is public still.

emal sent, hit me up on ICQ if you think you can help, thanks

ok, still looking for help
I prefer using TOR and Privoxy with this if possible, yes they slow down your connection, but considerably less than any other programs that I tried (like SocksCap etc) |
WiredGuy, you can specify the entry and the exit nodes on TOR, meaning that you can choose nodes that are located closer to you, so you don't get slowed down that much
I think you can also choose how many servers your traffic goes trough - the default is three |

thanks EvilGuy, testing another program right now, I'll save your email and contact you if I don't solve this in the next couple of hours
