Google up $44.00 pre market

Google is up $44.00 pre market

They blew away even the most optomistic expectations

their profits jumped 700%

This quarter is usually the slow quarter over summer but they did the most profits of any quarter in history

$1.6 billion in revenue

$382 million in Profits

Google extended it's lead in overall searches to 45% of all searches made on the internet...

Yahoo - 23%
MSN - 12%

Google is a Monster of a company! WOW!

Screaming 10-21-2005 06:27 AM

Platinum Dave 10-21-2005 06:29 AM

The stock is now trading at $347.20

How long can they sustain their market dominance. That is the billion dollar question.

WiredGuy 10-21-2005 07:23 AM

I'm not surprised to be honest, I've seen how much my expenses have increased with them and if you exponentiate that over all advertisers (who were able to stay profitable and keep their business ongoing with them), it would be quite a healthy return.

Hey Charles are you able to still remain profitable with Google since the increase in bid prices?

Seems like things are getting out of control

How much can people spend on the same advertising they were buying for 50% cheaper 2 years ago

Platinum Dave 10-21-2005 07:42 AM

I just did the math,

Google does $17.7 million dollars a day.... most of that is clicks

willysbirthday 10-21-2005 07:47 AM

WIll it split ever?

ROI has definitely dropped from Google traffic, in fact its probably one of my worse converting traffic sources right now but on certain niches they are still profitable. The more mainstream niches I had to pull out of entirely while the microniches remain to be profitable.

I remember a bunch of dumbasses when they IPO'd saying it was over priced and would never hold at the opening price and drop. I guess they never thought it would be quadrupling in less than 15 months.

So it now takes an absolute expert like WG to make money buying traffic from Google.

The other industries are the same, the ROI has just gotten so minimal.

Not really the same thing there... google was already a big compagny when they went public ... their release was for what ? 15 billions ?

Google at this very moment is now worth $105 Billion dollars

$340 per share

They went public at $85 a share roughly 25% of the current value

so Google went public $25 Billion give or take a few billion lol! :pimp
