UK Webmasters - Influenza
What are you doing in the uk?
Buying tamiflu online? Considering home-schooling for your children? Hoping it will blow over (there is always something threatening our existence)? Doing your shopping online? Avoiding people? The last I read, we have 4 European countries with cases. |
Ignoring it for now

Getting my normal flu shot and realising that it is a bird virus.

Last I heard (and I admit I didn't read the news much today) it hadn't yet done that but was more bird to bird at the moment. I don't know what else you can do other than get the normal jab. I have a feeling that in the end it is going to end up being a nightmare for farmers but not to much more for us...I hope. |
i get the general feeling from the news at the moment not to worry about it as its just affecting birds.
just have to watch the news and see what happens. i predict lots of dead chickens and not much else :) |
Ignoring it for now.
|
watching cnn int'l about it from spain - same story over and over. britain's first line of defense - bird hunters! :1orglaugh
|
Y2K bug all over again :)
|
They just announced a parrot has died in the UK of bird flu (seriously)

Well in Oz, customs stopped 3 infected pidgeons inported from canada, now there's talk about banning canadian poulty/game inport. But meh when there's massive outbreaks and ppl falling over in the street then i'll worry about it.
