please before its too late

Fletch XXX 10-20-2005 08:24 PM

no, the problem with people is they think posting about politics will stop Bush.

get off your ass and go outside and do something about it instead of posting on a board.

StickyGreen 10-20-2005 08:25 PM

you had your chance last election...

BlackCrayon 10-20-2005 08:27 PM

even in numbers unless you are backed by megacash and powerful people nothing will get done. this isn't the 60's anymore. i think largely people don't know what to do to stop it and its a lot easier to say you want to stop it then to actually try. im not american so i think there is little i could personally do.

Fletch XXX 10-20-2005 08:27 PM

Ok lets get down to it then

Would you say that the internet has an influence over the every day life of people??

would you say a fair number of people believe what they see or read on the internet??

Would you say that administration policy can be influenced by people??

do you think blogs have played any role active politics within the last 36 months?

would you say that a webmaster has the power to provide good information??

would you say that adult webmasters IF THEY GOT OFF THEIR ASSES AND DID IT could start a grass roots movement against certain policy??

think about it

if not for porn the internet would be nowhere near what it is today

make it happen people stop the dictator

Depends on the administration...how you define "influence"...and which group of people you're referring to.

Personally, I wouldn't know. I've never conducted a survey. Best estimate...I'd say doubtful. But blogs aren't the only component of the net, they are only one facet.

Yes, but again it would depend on how you define those terms, and their relativity.

Remains to be seen. Not all webmasters have the financial means or resources to proactively participate in a grassroots movement.

What have you done with regards to the above lately?

Yeah, bitching on the internet to a bunch of people that already share your beliefs is an effective means to change. Really.
